A Passionate & Accomplished Goalkeeper and Coach
Nathan Salveson's journey with soccer began in the north woods of Wisconsin. It truly blossomed, however, in the Pacific Northwest's thriving soccer scene after he relocated to Washington State. There, his talent as a goalkeeper flourished. He excelled during his college years in Olympia, all while meticulously studying health, fitness, and nutrition. This knowledge fueled not only his own training but also his desire to guide future goalkeepers.
Following his collegiate goalkeeper career, Nathan's commitment to the sport remained unwavering. He actively participated in various semi-pro and professional clubs, both indoor and outdoor, throughout the year. In 2015, his dedication was rewarded with a life-changing opportunity - a contract to play professionally in Bolivia. This immersive experience, spanning two and a half years, exposed him to a diverse range of South American coaching styles and techniques.
Today, Nathan leverages his extensive experience as a goalkeeper coach at Pacific Lutheran University and the goalkeeping director at Washington Premier FC. Since 2017, he has also been sharing his expertise with aspiring goalkeepers throughout the Puget Sound region through private coaching sessions.
