SOCCER CAMP DIRECTOR:  STEPHEN SWANGER:

A lifelong student of the game, Stephen brings a unique perspective to coaching, shaped by a life full of adventure, living in multiple regions of the US growing up, fluency in Spanish, service as a Russian translator in the US Army, and a playing career that spanned positions from goalkeeper to striker. Having played professionally in both Chile and Bolivia, he combines this wealth of experience with a master’s degree in education (M.Ed.) and a deep understanding of child development. His coaching philosophy centers on positional play methodology, drawing from various coaching curricula around the world, including that of Valencia CF to provide best teaching and learning practices on the field with players and coaching staff.
